Conclusions :
No dramatic difference in the dynamics of anion-water and water-water hydrogen bonds are found for Cl- and Br- ions. Solvation shells of these ions are not rigid.
For OH- in water, HB dynamics in the hydration shell determines the rate of proton transfer.
For OH- in water clusters, proton transfer occurs involving water molecules with dangling hydrogens.
At liquid-vapour interface, some of water dangling hydrogens are docked by ammonia nitrogens.
Hydrogen bond dynamics at aqueous surface is found to be somewhat slower than that in bulk water.
Hydrogen bonds are also found to play a role in the binding of excess electrons in water-ammonia clusters
