TiO2 is a promising photoanode material with significant light conversion efficiency in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). However, the multidimensional TiO2 nanostructures have a great impact on the production of highly efficient solar cells. Here, the hydrothermal method was assigned to synthesize TiO2 nanoparticles (TNPs), TiO2 nanorods (TNRs), and TiO2 nanotubes (TNTs) for photoanodes. The crystallinity, surface and internal morphological changes were analyzed with X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The N719 dye as the light absorber and idolize as the electrolyte along with fabricated photoanode with different TiO2 nanostructures for construction of DSSCs, among TNTs based DSSC showed the highest power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 5.03% compared to TNPs and TNRs.
