The properties of a configuration of two scalar doublets admitting a global SO(2) symmetry is studied in the presence of an abelian dyon core when the scalar doublets are coupled to the electromagnetic field through parity violating and parity preserving terms. The mass and the conserved global charge of theQ configuration are computed in terms of the parameters of the lagrangian.

We construct a formula for the energy released when a spherical shell of charged matter disperses in the presence of a dyon core. Reasons for such a dyon-charged shell configuration on a macroscopic scale stem from the recent speculation concerning the existence of CHAMPS (charged massive particles) along with the possible existence of monopoles produced around the time of nucleosynthesis.

The screening of the electric-like charge degrees of freedom of aU(1) ×U(1) dyon by an axion-like domain wall is discussed. Depending on the combination of degenerate minima at the interior and exterior boundary of the spherical domain wall a multiplicity of “screened generated electric-likeU(1) ×U(1) charges” are generated in the region exterior to the domain wall. Such a result demonstrates how aU(1) ×U(1) dyon-domain wall configuration may generate multiplicate phenomena in the early universe from a singleU(1) ×U(1) source.

We study the relative rates of expansion in cosmologies admitting curvature dependent and energy dependent bulk viscosity. It is conjectured that curvature dependant bulk viscosity may be a phenomenological way of representing gravitational vacuum polarization around the time of the Planck era.

By surrounding an Abelian Dyon with an axion-like domain wall we calculate the screening effects generated by the domain wall on the dyon degrees of freedom.
