A plausible explanation for muon events due to radiation from Cygnus X-3
The muon events produced at Soudan-I and NUSEX proton decay detectors due to radiation from Cygnus X-3 are given a plausible explanation on the basis of
E 6 GUT. The possibility of verifying the explanation by using the accelerator experiments is suggested. -

An extended technicolour model for grand unification
An extended technicolour grand unification model based on the gauge group
E 6×SU(7) extended technicolour is presented. The symmetry-breaking based on extended technicolour theory is discussed. It is shown that the existing phenomenology is well explained by the model. The strangeness changing neutral currents may not be a problem with this model.
