The resistance of Baumforth A toAmphorophora rubi (Kalt.), is shown to be controlled by a single dominant gene,A1, which is linked with the normal allele of a semi-lethal gene,fr, designated Frilly. The cross-over value of these two loci is approximately 3·3%. The geneA1 confers high resistance both to the seedling and to the mature plant.
