Photoproduction of hydrogen by photosynthetic bacteria from sewage and waste water
Numerous prokaryotes, belonging to physiologically and taxonomically different groups, are able to produce hydrogen. Some photosynthetic bacteria have the property of light-dependent production of hydrogen from organic substrates.
