In this study, we demonstrate a facile and single-step electrochemical fabrication of a series of Earthabundant transition metal sulphides nanostructures (TMS NS), including iron sulphide (FeS NS), cobalt sulphide (CoS NS), nickel sulphide (NiS NS) and copper sulphide (CuS NS) on nickel foam (NF) substrate. The developed TMS nanostructures are employed as the potential electrode materials for the improved glucose oxidation reaction (GOR) under alkaline electrolyte. Among the developed TMS nanostructured electrodes in this present study, the FeS NS|NF electrode demonstrated the highest GOR electrocatalytic performance in terms of high anodic current density (${\sim}$16.7 mA cm$^{-2}$), excessive mass activity (${\sim}$123.0 A g$^{-1}$) and extraordinary rate of the reaction (${\sim}$4.3 mol s$^{-1}$ cm$^{-2}$). Moreover, the fabricated TMS nanostructured electrodes follow the order of GOR electrocatalytic activity: FeS NS|NF${\ge}$CoS NS|NF${\ge}$ NiS NS|NF${\ge}$CuS NS|NF.
