    • Abstract

       

      The leaves ofRhododendron falconeri Hook, have been examined for their crystalline components by extraction with organic solvents and fractionation along usual lines. Three crystalline substances which appear to be triterpenoid in nature were obtained from the petroleum-ether extract in very low yields. From the ether extract ursolic acid was obtained and from the alcoholic extract quercetin.
