    • Abstract

       

      By the Friedel and Craft’s reaction using resorcinol dimethyl ether andp- methoxy hydratropic acid chloride, angolensin monomethyl ether has been prepared. Employing resorcinol dibenzyl ether for the reaction and final debenzylation, angolensin (racemic) itself has been obtained.
