    • Abstract

       

      We present a generalised Lindblad equation (GLE) for position-dependent mass (PDM). Using the GLE, we obtain the probability density, Fisher information (FI), Von Neumann entropy and the quantum Fisher information (QFI) in two different generalised Jang and Dekker cases. The behaviours of the above measures are analysed with the position, time and friction. We find that the dominance of either FI or QFI depends on fulfilling the fundamental uncertainty relation on diffusion parameters.
