Apparent changes with age in crossing-over between colour and size genes in mice
Changes in the values of the brown-black mean weight ratios in the back-cross populations of a mouse species cross (large brownMus musculus × small blackMus bactrianus) support the view that crossing-over between size and colour genes increases with age in the female (homogametic sex) and decreases with age in the male (heterogametic sex).
