    • Abstract

       

      Several α-oximino-β-thiosemicarbazones of acetoacetarylamides have been synthesized by condensing thiosemicarbazide and α-oximinoacetoacetarylamides. α-Oximino-β-thiosemicarbazinoacetoacetarylamides are cyclized employing thionyl chloride or acetic anhydride/sodium acetate to give N-aryl 4-methyl-2-thiocarbamido-1,2,3, triazole-5 carboxylic acid amide. The compounds reported herein are characterized byuv, ir and microanalytical data.
