    • Abstract

       

      The dielectric constants and losses of phenyl acetic acid, 2–4 dinitro phenyl acetic acid, 2–4 dinitro phenoxy acetic acid, chloro acetic acid and amino acetic acid have been measured in dilute solution of dioxane at three temperatures 30–40° and 50° C in the microwave region (3–13 cm). The static dielectric constant and the high frequency dielectric constant have been determined at 300 kH and at optical frequency. The relaxation time and the dipole moment have been calculated using Higashi method. The distribution parameter and thermodynamical parameters have also been reported.
