    • Abstract

       

      Electrical and magnetic properties of the system LaNi1−xFexOs (0<x≦0·3) have been investigated. The system shows metallic behaviour similar to LaNiOa uptox=0·1 while the sample withx=0·3 shows semiconducting behaviour. Oxygen partial pressure dependence of electrical resistivity is noticed in the composition LaNi0·9Fe0·1O
