    • Abstract

Carbon-based nanoparticles create a huge group with substantial applications in the diagnosis and therapy of diseases. Herein, the mechanism of their outstanding properties was discussed to form a new insight for handling their issues and developing new applications in medical field. In addition, the strategies to remove the possible toxicity effects were gathered and a complete literature review about their production by economical methods was done. At the end of thisarticle, the future applications of these nanoparticles and their new derivatives were noted.
