Women Associates of IAS

The Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) has started the Associateship programme in 1983 to identify and encourage promising young scientists. The Associateship is tenable for a maximum period of 5 years until the age of 35 or a minimum period of 3 years. Since its inception 21 women and 208 men have become the Associates of the Academy.

Currently there are 28 Associates on rolls of the Academy out of which there are 3 Women Associates and 25 Men Associates.

The following is a list of Women Associates presently on the rolls of the Academy as well as those who have completed their tenure:
