Sulochana Gadgil
Ph.D. (1970, Harvard), FASc, FNA, and the Fellow of the India Meteorological Society, is honorary Professor at the CAOS, IISc, Bangalore. Recipient of several awards including Hari Om award, Norman Borlaug Award, Astronautical Society Award and National award for lifetime achievement in Atmospheric Science and Technology. Her areas of interest are monsoon and ocean dynamics, climate variability and agriculture and evolutionary biology.
