Ph. D. (1976, Pune), FASc, FNASc, Fellow of the Maharastra Academy of Sciences. She received the Materials Research Society of India Medal and the M.S Patel Visiting Fellowship in Polymer Physics, UICT. She works on nanotechnology, surface science and materials science at the University of Pune.
