The awards she received include among others are - the Shakuntaladevi Amirchand Prize of the ICMR, Transasian award for biological electron microscopy, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Citation for Lifetime award for science and humaneness. She works in the area of cancer research pathology, wound healing and regeneration and viruses and human cancer.
