Priya Davidar
Ph.D. (1980, Bombay), was a Senior Fellow of the Smithsonian Institution and was elected President of the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation in 2009. She is the Dean of the School of Life Sciences, Pondicherry University, Puducherry. Her area of specialization is tropical ecology and conservation biology.
