Fifth National Women's Science Congress

Swadeshi Vijnana Andolana-Karnataka jointly with B.V.B. College of Arts and Commerce, UG and PG, organized the Fifth National Women's Science Congress at B.V.B. college, Bidar between 7-9th,
November 2012. Focal theme of the congress was on 'Women in Education'.

Fourth National Women's Science Congress

Swadeshi Vijnana Andolana-Karnataka jointly with M.S Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) organized the fourth national women's science congress at MSRIT, Bangalore on November 7, 2011. Focal theme of the congress was on 'women in engineering, technology enterpreneurship and industry'.

International Conference of Women Mathematicians

The conference was held at University of Hyderabad between August 17-18, 2010. This was held two days prior to the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM 2010)

Leadership Challenges for Professional Women

This was a training programme organized by the Centre for Organization Development (COD), Hyderabad for women executives, between December 14-18, 2009. The main agenda was to develop skills and attitudes for enhanced role effectiveness and try to understand how women become leaders.

Book release function of 'Lilavati's Daughters: The Women Scientists of India' and Symposium on Women in Science

The book Lilavati's Daughters: The Women Scientists of India was released during the inaugural session of the 74th Annual Meeting of the Indian Academy of Sciences on 31st October, 2008. There was a symposium on women in science with a panel discussion on 1st November, 2008 during the annual meeting.

A National Seminar on Socio-Economic Development: Challenges before Women Scientists, Technologists & Engineers (CWSTE 2008) 

This is the first announcement of the seminar. The seminar intends to provide a common platform women scientists and technologists to interact and discuss their role and activities for taking up challenges in promoting social and economic development of our nation. The seminar will be held in National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Orissa. The date of the seminar is yet to be decided.
