Ph. D. (1984,
IISc), works in the Department of Biotechnology, IIT
Chennai. She is a recipient of the Fogarty award of the NIH, USA and is
an Alexander von Humboldt awardee. She works in the areas of bioorganic
chemistry, enzyme mechanisms, and green chemistry.
