SRL Levitates Woman 5cm with Single Crystal YBCO.
Researchers at the International Superconductivity Technology Center's Superconductivity Research Laboratory (SRL) reported that they have levitated a woman (Ms Asakawa) with 5 centimeters clearance using (HTS) materials, beating the old record (5 millimeters) a factor of ten.
