Abstract. The
talk described the prospects of studying standard model parameters
as well as scenarios beyond the
standard model, like the minimal supersymmetric
standard model, theories with extra dimensions and theories with extra neutral
gauge bosons, at a future linear $e^+e^-$ collider.
