CP violation: the past, the present and the futureA I SANDA Department of Physics, Nagoya University Nagoya, Japan Abstract. We have just entered a period during which we expect considerable progress toward understanding CP violation. Here we review what we have learnt so far, and what is to be expected in the near future.
