Journal of Genetics (ISSN: 0022-1333), published by Indian Academy of Sciences since 1985 (see the short note on the journal's history), covers all areas of genetics and evolution, including molecular genetics and molecular evolution. Three issues are published each year in one volume, in April, August and December. The journal accepts submissions only via the Web, at www.editorialmanager.com/jgen/.
